Make a list of four or five things that "tick you off." Explain why. (Choose significant things that others might experience as well. For instance, your little brother might tick you off, but there is little chance that this annoyance will yield a possible paper topic). It is possible that one of these annoyances can be transformed into an interesting, engaging, and researchable project.

1) having to buy gas for my car. i just recently brought a car but i have to drop money into it quite frequently.\
2) animal cruelty really gets me angry as well. i think people should be more respectful.
3) the cold weather my lips become chapped my skin becomes dry and im always sniffling.
4) having to stay healthy and being aware that almost everything i want to eat or drink is bad for me. i want to be able to eat at my convience but so many things are primary factors to the diabetes increase in america.

Benjamin Arbachesky
college research Tuesday Thursday
homework #1

1) to fully prepare students to be web literate the apparent answer would be to create a instructional course regarding this topic. i think that this is partially accurate but i also think that kids should incorporate the web into some of their previously taken classes like english and science. sometimes a instructional course isnt the best approach.

2)For a teacher to be web literate and instruct others i feel they should have the skills to accurately understand what is going on behind the scenes of just simply googling something. they should also be able to find proper information and know what to avoid when doing so. the internet should be broken down into concepts.

3)I think school filtering is unnecessary, it voids a slight freedom granted when given the internet power in school. i have had several times where even though i was looking for educational sources and i would get blocked. its a way to keep us from doing nothing in check.

4)the internet and the printing press are closely related in a way. both items were revolutionary for their times and helped the sharing of knowledge become easier and to inform others was less of a hassle. both were added convenience so that humans can accomplish more with less work.

5) the internet has affected many areas of our modern culture. music, media, and other information is granted at ourr very fingertips even now from our phones. it is not odd that every person carries a phone with internet acces on it. the internet has truly changed how we as a population has lived our lives
