1.Does banning books from a school library violate students’ First Amendment guarantee of free speech? Why or why not? yes it is. it takes the choice away from students and their parents. 2.On what grounds can a school board show a constitutionally permissible reason for a book’s removal? if the topic of the book is indecent. 3.Should a school library be allowed to limit access to certain books by requiring students to get the approval of their parents or guardians? Why or why not? no, I think that will just cause inconvienence with the students so that they will get angered 4.If a school board decides to restrict access to a library book to only those with parental permission, are they infringing upon students’ First Amendment rights? yes its a direct violation. 5.Can a school board remove a book from a school library simply because they disagree with ideas in a book? Why or why not? no they need a valid reason.
